When crazy fools put wood too close to WOOD BURNERS!!! you need to protect the wood from burning …..so here we have used twin walled insulated flue pipe to pass over the back of the wooden lintel and employed a mild steel heat shield with an air gap which prevents heat transfer to the combustible material. No problems….only solutions is what we say….
