We replaced the old gas appliance with a refurbished Villager and canopy. We had to rip out the old wooden framed closure plate and fit a steel one with a new frame. The massive damp and mould issues are now gone. Not only does the 8kw+ heat now warm the whole house but the appliance always draws on air so preventing mould from returning.
