Payment Terms

We would request payment for the chosen appliance prior to installation in most circumstances. The outstanding balance will be due within 14 days of the issue of the final invoice after final commissioning. Once the final invoice is settled your Building Control application with be made to HETAS.

Guarantees/Warranties

The installation will be carried out to high standards and guaranteed free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 3 years from the date of completion of installation.

All stainless-steel flue liners and twin walled flue systems carry warranties from 25 years to 35 years and will be registered on the client’s behalf by Silver Stoves unless otherwise stated.

Our twin-walled insulated flue systems come with a 25-year warranty and will be registered on the client’s behalf by Silver Stoves unless otherwise stated.

Title of Goods

All goods shall remain the property of Silver Stoves until full and final payment is received.

Late Payment

We reserve the right to charge compensation and interest for any invoices not paid within the above stipulated timescales as per the ‘Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1988’.

Planning Permission and Consents

We can take no responsibility for any associated costs or inconveniences caused by any actions by the Local Planning Authority, or similar bodies, should the customer proceed with works without having sought appropriate permissions, approvals or consents in writing.

Complaints Procedure

All complaints occurring during an installation shall be notified directly to Silver Stoves at the earliest opportunity so that a reasonable resolution can be formed. Should a complaint arise after installation is complete, it should be put in writing setting out clearly the basis for the complaint.

Cancellations

Any cancellation of goods part/whole and/or services needs to be notified directly to Silver Stoves at the earliest opportunity. In respect of the cancelled goods or services, Silver Stoves reserves the right to charge for work completed and unrecoverable costs which may include products and/or services yet to be delivered, installed or undertaken.
