About This Project

An old farm house shimne fawr with a Broseley fire installed. To increase the presence of the stove and to make it easier to refuel we built a plinth from old stone laying around the farm. The angle iron frame holds the steel closure plate. Normally sprayed black the shield stops all the lovely heat disappearing up the chimney.
